Managing the Generation Mix in the Workplace

At no time in the history of our country have so many and such different generations with such diversity been asked to work together.

People with different ways of working, talking, and thinking who don't understand each other and don't know how to communicate with each other are creating havoc for managers who are trying to mold these ages, values, and views into a productive group.

People of different generations and perspectives have the potential to bring different thoughts and ideas to problem solving and future opportunity.

You will learn how to:

1. Understand the generations in the workplace today--the events that shaped their lives, their work styles, and factors to keep in mind when working with each generation.
